F1 Seasons and Points

F1 is played in seasons, like other sports.

  • A season has many races
  • Drivers get points for finishing high
  • More points = higher in the championship

At the end:

  • One driver becomes World Champion
  • One team becomes Constructors' Champion

Where Do They Race?

F1 races on special tracks called circuits.

Two types:

  • Race tracks built just for racing
  • Street tracks on normal city roads, closed for race day

Each track has:

  • Long straights
  • Tight corners
  • Chicanes (quick left-right turns)

Different tracks need different racing skills.
